Gavin K. P. Hager

I am an illustrator with a passion for character and prop concept art. I love to sit back and just imagine impossible worlds and have been doing so since I was young. I never knew how to express my thoughts until I was given my first sketchbook. Since then it has been my dream to create concept art for characters, props, or even environments.

I started creating art at a very early age and became enthralled with the process of it, passionate towards every aspect. From this, I was able to thrive in an artistic environment given to me through my education. At my college I created art that was bought by the very school that taught me (2015) and sold every one of my own pieces at their Annual Art Sale (2014). At my university I have been made an example to follow for my peers in illustration. However, art is not the only thing taught and time and effort must be put into all aspects of education. I retain my high GPA (3.90) through hard work in all areas, not solely art.

Most art students do not understand that a career in art is still a professional business, regardless of how artistic you are. Thanks to my skills in the employee, human resources, and management levels of work, I can function in such a world.
